There was this guy called Nietzche.
He said that the world is divided between two types of people.
The Apollonian, guys who makes the rules and the Dionysian, guys who go wild and party a lot.
We all have these two modes of being inside of us, when we have to work a lot or put up appearances in front of others with serious matters, we are in the Apollonian mode and when we go on holiday or watch sports, we are in the Dionysian mode.
When we live in one or the other mode too much we aren't in the proper balance.
If you have the personality type of the one, it is best you try and gravitate towards the other.
Party too much and you become irresponsible and fatten yourself up with snacks. If you are too serious you become a control freak with no sense of humor and risk getting an A type personality with a heart condition.
Societies like Japan are Apollonian, they have strict rules and you feel like a cog in the system. Little societies like the Bushmen or the Aboriginals are Dionysian, they go with the flow and have a lot of magic in their tribes. Unfortunately their societies are more unstable and they don't live too long.
