What is the difference, albeit more real, between Ovid the poet's idea of creation and the big bang?
I think Ovid's epic poem is more real than the scientists idea of the origins.
He reason is that there are two basic modes of human understanding.
That of thinking (cognition) and that of
Feeling and intuiting.
If you feel, you can feel 'loss' or 'fulfillment'.
Happiness or enlightenments are feelings too.
Solving a mathematical problem is just that. Feeling happy beacuse of this is secondary.
This experience is more real than the thinking world of solving a problem.
The world of feeling is where truths reside, without it, everything is a dark vacuum.
